Delivery Method of Card Manipulation
This publication project showcases a variety of creatively designed spreads that connect with the chosen word "Delivery." Diving into the performance art, card manipulation serves as a medium for delivering a display of cardistry and card manipulation through the use of cards. Card manipulation serves as the conduit for magicians and illusionists to convey their inspiring performances, and hone their dexterous sleight-of-hand techniques.
The Process
Part of the creative process was to configure photographs that I took along with sketches to help lay out the overall composition of each page. This creates a cohesive understanding of each card/sleight method for audiences to visualize.
